These terms govern the website only. They do not replace any estate-specific subscription, allocation, payment-plan, development, or sale agreement.
2. Purpose of the Website
The website lets you review published estate information, contact Oakyard, and request a site inspection. Sending a form, email, or WhatsApp message does not reserve a plot, create a sale, guarantee availability, fix a price, or oblige either party to proceed.
A transaction begins only through the authorised process and written documents that apply to the specific estate and plot.
3. Acceptable Use
You must not use this website to:
- break any applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
- submit false details, impersonate another person, or misuse the enquiry form;
- introduce malicious code, probe security, overload the service, or interfere with another visitor;
- scrape or reproduce substantial website content for a competing service without written permission; or
- use Oakyard’s name, imagery, plans, or materials in a misleading way.
4. Website Content & Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the website design, text, graphics, brand material, and Oakyard-created property content belong to Oakyard or are used with permission. You may view and retain a reasonable copy for your personal property search. No other licence is granted.
Information you send in a private enquiry remains yours. You permit Oakyard to use it only as reasonably needed to respond, arrange an inspection, protect the service, and keep lawful records, as explained in the Privacy Notice.
5. Accuracy, Availability & External Links
Oakyard takes reasonable care with published information but estate prices, availability, fees, plans, and project status can change. Request current written particulars before acting. The detailed Property & Legal Notice explains the checks a buyer should make.
We may correct, update, suspend, or withdraw website content. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. External services are operated under their own terms, and a link does not transfer control of those services to Oakyard.
6. Responsibility
Use the website as a starting point, not as a substitute for current transaction documents or independent legal, survey, tax, valuation, or financial advice. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, Oakyard is not responsible for loss caused solely by relying on outdated or incomplete general website information when current written particulars and professional verification were available.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that applicable Nigerian consumer law does not permit us to exclude, including liability for fraud, negligence, or misrepresentation where it cannot lawfully be limited.
